It is important when using the Twister jar and lid, to make sure that the blender is started at a very slow speed, and then gradually ramped up to full speed. This is important because it is possible for the ingredients to come out through the gaps between the lid and the container as shown by this image that was the result of my first attempt at making almond butter. One thing to note about the Twister jar is that the Twister lid does not make a tight seal with the container.
